We used this map and the one for the Erne waterways on our trip from Sept 10 to Sept 17, 2011 and found it to be an excellent product.
The company we rented our boat from insisted on selling us a different map, actually a large, multi page book (Navigation Guide to the Shannon and Erne Waterways) but we were much happier using this simple laminated chart. The book had great detail and much very usefull information but simply was not suitable for use at the helm, especially when we used the flying bridge in the wind and rain.
On the Upper Erne we found perhaps 2 or 3 instances where the marker numbering did not match the chart but it was easy to use some simple logic and good old fashioned eyeball navigation to avoid running aground.
I assumed this chart would be water proof, since it was laminated, but although it resited moisture, it is not totaly waterproof. The outer edges absorbed water making the chart a little "limp".
All in all, a very good choice.
